God’s Word assures us of His love. We also know that His love toward us is immeasurable. Even so, as fallible humans, we often question His love. In the natural realm, when we question something, we reveal our uncertainties or reveal our fear of the unknown. However, when we question God and His ways, are we perhaps questioning His love for us? Our text tells us “we can know” we are loved because “He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.” His abiding presence demonstrates His love toward us that is so pure He is beyond question. 

“If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads

into all truth. John 14:15-17 NLT

No words could express more simply or more powerfully the inconceivably glorious place

With so much rain and fog, vision was extremely limited, but the drivers stoutly continued on. What the drivers on this busy road did not know, was that this very day the bridge had collapsed. Every driver that proceeded as normal would perish. One young person managed to stop in time, and with as much speed as they could muster, they ran back to warn the other drivers —“Stop! The bridge is out! You’ve got to turn around!!” But they were met with contempt, “Get out of the road!” “Can’t you see that we’re in a hurry!” “We’ve got to get to work.”

The Body of Christ must ‘Elevate its Influence and Leadership’ by restoring the Biblical foundations that will ultimately impact America’s moral compass for good.

It is the 9th inning, and the score is in our favor. Everyone expects a huge defeat is going to be delivered to the other team - who for decades seemed to have won. For years with fervent fight, we have chipped away at their successes and are about to win. Cheers will be heard across the nation!

Here is the warning though - The season is not over, your team needs YOU! 

The world is a messed-up place. There is pain, separation, brokenness, and death. Our fallen nature causes people to divide each other into groups defined by physical characteristics, and to treat each other horribly based on those groups. People lie, cheat, steal, and murder.

God calls this wickedness sin, and in the previous articles we have seen that, according to the Bible, the sin of racism is the unequal treatment of people because of their skin color, or the devaluing of someone or some group because of physical characteristics.

“Hi Mister! I’d like to see your puppies.” The young boy smiled broadly. The farmer led the boy to a pen where a litter of puppies scampered eagerly about their mother. The farmer was selling them and the boy had been saving his money.

The farmer watched as the lad carefully scrutinized the black and white pups. After a few moments, the boy pointed to a quiet puppy sitting alone in the back of the pen. He called him and the little dog gingerly limped toward the boy, wagging its tail. “I’d like that one,” the boy said.

With a yearning heart of love, like the hound of heaven, he pursued us down the corridors of time. There was nowhere we could go where he would not find us. God’s love is unstoppable, his grace is unfathomable, and his will is unconquerable.

Have you been through a time when you feel like God is not speaking to you? No Bible verses are impacting you; no messages from the pulpit are impacting your heart; no worship song is getting through the fears and the darkness in your soul – it is a hard place. How tormenting that is - the quietness of God.
