Christians Engaged Supporter now Judge

Christians Engaged is not only involving individual Christians around the nation in the political process, but we are also a network of Christians connected at a heart level who gains strength together in our journeys.

One of the highlights of my career came a few weeks ago as I was asked to introduce my dear friend, Christians Engaged supporter and now judge, Gina G. Parker at her investiture from the House Chamber in the Texas State Capitol.

Gina was sworn in as one of three new judges on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, a statewide court that serves more than 30 million Texans. I was blessed beyond words to have played any part in her story and to be given this great honor.

Gina has been one of the major sponsors of our annual national conference each year, helping me start our first large event and even chairing our 2022 conference. After losing a statewide race in 2020 for this same court, Gina was discouraged but didn’t give up. Joining with and encouraging other believers through Christians Engaged kept her connected to a dream that one day she would be a judge.

From the Texas House floor in her introduction, I was able to tell Gina’s story: a woman who survived childhood sexual abuse and date rape but found the healing of Jesus and has through her legal, business, and ministry life carried love and justice to everyone she knows. She is an incredible, humble leader, and I am so thankful for the people of Texas for electing her to this high office.

Gina reminded everyone in her speech to pray, vote and engage and that Christians like her and the people in the room celebrating with her can make a difference in our government every day.

As we celebrate the victory stories of 2024, will you help us raise up more leaders like Gina Parker? We need ongoing support for Christians Engaged to continue to reach more Christians to pray and vote regularly, to raise up leaders, and to encourage others like Gina on their journeys.

We can take a young leader (18 to 30 years old) on a 3 ½ day leadership development trip to Washington, D.C. this summer for $2,000, mentor a young person through our campaign school for $500, or mentor them through a civics or biblical worldview class for $50. Reaching young people with educational products and mentorship is something we are doing every day through our new 1630 Show and initiative. Will you help us?

Please consider giving $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50, or $25 today, or set up a monthly donation to help us over this important year.

Have you taken THE PLEDGE to pray, vote, and engage and see all that we do? We want to help you NEVER forget an election again?
