2024 Ministry Update: Announcing Key Leadership Changes

Happy New Year! 2023 was a year of blessing and growth for us at Christians Engaged, and your support played a crucial role in that. Thank you!
Your generous support made it possible for us to expand into all 50 states, and we are now communicating with over 200,000 Christians nationwide, empowering them to PRAY, VOTE, & ENGAGE.
We are equipping the Church to be “salt and light” in our nation...can we get an amen?!
The 2024 election season is a pivotal time for America, and Christians Engaged is ready to meet the moment!
We are reaching Christians across America with a real-world application of biblical principles through our civic engagement resources and voting reminders sent via text and email. Our goal is to grow toward 1 million Christians ahead of the 2024 General Election, and we have the team in place to make that goal a reality.
We are excited to announce some key leadership changes.
Ben Quine, NEW Vice President of Christians Engaged
Ben Quine has been promoted as the Vice President of Christians Engaged. This dedicated man of God has been faithful to serve as our Curriculum and Strategic Ministry Partnership Director since joining our staff in 2023. Through Ben’s leadership, we have produced three new 6–8-hour on-demand video courses and signed over 50+ national ministries and local churches as ongoing partners with Christians Engaged. Ben will continue in his previous role but will also be taking on more responsibilities within the ministry–including assisting with partner relations, media, and speaking on behalf of the organization. We are honored to walk alongside Ben, his wife, Julie and their three precious boys, as we continue to fulfill our plans and vision for the ministry.
Scott Jones, Chairman of the Board
Scott took over as our Interim Vice President over three years ago after Trayce Bradford stepped down to run for office, and since then, he has served faithfully in that role as a volunteer. Scott's gifts of leadership, oversight, and vision-casting are invaluable assets to our ministry, and he has graciously agreed to continue serving, now as our first Chairman of the Board. Scott and his wife, Patti have both been key pillars in this ministry since we began, and we truly cherish their involvement.
Susan Wright, Advancement Officer
After serving as our part-time Advancement Officer, Susan Wright has been brought on full-time to assist with our continued nationwide expansion. With a background in business administration, public policy, constituent services, and politics, Susan has been faithful in all levels of government, and brings a level of expertise to our team that will serve us at all levels. Susan is the widow of the late Congressman Ron Wright, and she also ran for his seat (TX-06) after his untimely passing. We are delighted to have Susan with us to build deeper relationships with our current and prospective partners, as we work toward reaching our $1.5 million fundraising goal for 2024.
Hon. Vicky Hartzler, National Advisory Board
Lastly, we are honored to have former Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler join the Christians Engaged Advisory Board. Rep. Hartzler represented the Fourth Congressional District of Missouri from 2011-2023. With her victory in the 2010 Midterm Elections, she became the second Republican woman ever elected to Congress from Missouri, and the first Republican in 55 years to represent the Fourth District. While in Congress, Rep. Hartzler served on the House Armed Services and Agriculture Committees. She also chaired the House Values Action Team defending faith, family, and religious freedom. She is the author of Running God’s Way, which outlines biblical campaign strategies for successfully running for public office.
Between our incredible Board of Directors and paid staff, we have the wisdom, experience, and determination to truly make an impact throughout our nation.
