The Invisible Enemy

By Samuel Bistrian

There is an invisible enemy determined to end humanity. This enemy has no borders, it’s widespread and it locks people in forced and permanent confinement.

This enemy is tiny, but don't be fooled because it knows how to force all of humanity to its knees with its crafty infection. It can paralyze the body and the mind. They say it’s very crafty, very contagious and once it’s in, it knows how to mutate.

It gets into your immune system and weakens it. The more it spreads the higher the chance of damage and even death.

There are conspiracy theories suggesting that it's created, others say that it's natural. But humanity is crying out with labor pains asking and begging for a vaccine to face this enemy.

This enemy is an infectious and deadly virus.

Its name is FEAR.

The one that makes you surrender everything: your common sense, your dreams and your freedom.

It steals your peace and drives you to delirium. When you're infected it poisons you, so you agonize with illusions and delusions.

It convinces you to blame your neighbor, so you can lock your door in his face and watch him bleed out the window.

This virus lies in your ear with a whisper, “I am impossible to heal”, while you wait for a vaccine with the false hope of freedom.

The only antidote to this virus is faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is LOVE.

Perfect LOVE casts out all FEAR.

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
   where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
   the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
   he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.
