Your Christian Guide to Vote in the 2022 Midterm Elections

Election Day: Tuesday, November 8, 2022

STEP 1: Choose the political party and candidates that more closely align with your Biblical values.

  • STEP 2: Pull your sample ballot from your County Elections Department so you can see all the candidates.

    • You can find your County Elections Department website by using a search engine such as Google or Bing - i.e., "Dallas County Elections Department".

  • STEP 3: Spend some dedicated time researching the candidates in each race on your ballot and make your choice.

    • Look at the individual candidate websites (if possible) to see where they stand on the issues. At a minimum, read candidates' ABOUT and ISSUES pages.

  • Look at who supports them: organizations, groups, other elected officials, key endorsements, etc. They should tell you that on their website or social media feeds.

  • STEP 4: Look to outside sources for information on candidates' voting records and fundraising information.

  • STEP 5: Pray and ask God for wisdom to pick the best candidate in each race.

    • We have to pick between imperfect candidates during this election, but vote for those who most align with your Biblical values.
